10th International sports games of Dental Medicine
During our every day tasks we run into each other quite a lot. We take care of our tasks, more or less successfully - and run after the next task. But how many times do we have a chance to really get to know each other during business hours, to really make our jobs more enjoyable? Well, this get-together is exactly about that.
Ten years ago, a small group of dental technicians led by Dušan Maras, decided that dental technician meetings should be freed from all professional themes and filled with as much fun and sports as possible. The idea took root and, after the previous four gatherings, we could safely say that the beginning of May became a traditional period for dental technicians to gather in the beautiful Istrian town of Poreč. And so it will happen again: the group of enthusiastic dental technicians will organize the 10h International sports games of Dental Medicine in Poreč from 09 to 12 May 2013.
Poreč is well known as a city hosting the largest sports happenings, such as the Archery World Cup, and is one of the hosts of the World Handball Championships. Additionally, great bulk of Croatian soccer and handball teams, as well as the respective national teams, have their preparations and trials on Poreč sports terrains. This year we expect some two hundred dental technicians to attend, from Croatia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy, Germany, Hungary and other regional countries...
